Hi Kathy:

I have to tell you how amazing Hoss is!  My husband had seriously injured his leg yesterday morning.    Medics came and Hoss waited by very protectively.
When my husband came home late last night from the hospital, Hoss was cautiously watching him walk up with crutches.  He wasn't quite sure about those things.  My husband had his whole lower leg wrapped in gauze and there was a fair amount of blood seeping through the bandages.  He sat down on the couch and Hoss sat there close by watching him.  Hoss kept going over to my husbands leg, trying to clean it (we had to cover it with a towel to keep him from it).  Hoss was very concerned about my husband's well being and the injury.  It was more comfortable for him to sleep on the couch so Hoss stayed by his side the whole entire evening and throughout today.

It's amazing to me as Hoss is more bonded with me than my husband.  He is an amazing dog.  During the whole ordeal, he kept watch on my husband, my girls, and me.  He kept going from person to person checking on each of us.  WOW! he never ceases to amaze me.  Thanks for breeding only the best!

Kelly

Hi Kathy,

Tricksee (a Talli x Bellagio puppy) is doing very well. We just finished our puppy positive class, where she won first place in the competition (loose leash walking and come) and received a medal. She also passed the test for the AKC S.T.A.R. puppy program. She absolutely loves playing in the snow and playing with her big sister. I have received many compliments on her both in her class and when we go out walking.

Thanks, Kristin

Hi Kathy -

Hawk (a Talli x Bellagio puppy) got to walk around the marina and the U WA-Tacoma campus (which is all stairs up & down) and go across a bridge over train tracks; he also had his first trip in an elevator.  He was very excited to see an old fawn Bouv inside an art gallery as we walked by - obviously recognized her as a distant relative.  And of course he got to meet & greet on the ferry.  I'm awfully glad you brought him out here so that you could see how/where he lives.

He is out & about all over Whidbey & the Seattle area with us- he loves to ride in the car and is a very friendly, fearless, and social dog and instinctively knows to be very gentle with little kids.  He seems to be a fairly "hard" dog as well given our play with the Schtz. puppy tug - he takes a nice, deep symmetric bite and hangs on! and by nature of where we live, is gun-proofed.  He's working out very well & has now decided that David shouldn't get out of his sight, though it's me that he comes to if he has to go out or wants a goodie.  Overall, just a great member of the family - Georgia

"I wanted to send you a quick email to thank you for your wonderful service at Walk in the Woods for my Boxer - Diesel.  He stayed on New Year's Eve and the smile on his face when we walked out said enough.  Thank you again and I will recommend you to anyone that asks."  -  Jeremy
